Sunflair solar cooker
I purchased this solar cooker just to test it out. I was not expecting much but the storage and portability made it worth checking out. I do a lot of solar cooking and own quite a few nice solar cookers. This one was a real surprise. It performed much better than I expected and is now a regular. It is so easy to pack up and carry in a small vehicle. The collapsible pots are easy to use and clean up. I have purchased a few more for Christmas gifts.

I made chicken enchilada soup on a sunny 50 degree day. It worked as promised and tasted great!! Wonderful idea.
This cooks rice better than a rice cooker
Admittedly I live in a very sunny place but the rice was cooked in less than 3 hours and it was awesome fluffy. Leaving it in the solar cooker longer would not have hurt it either so we could have used this at the camp site, put the rice on and then gone on a hike and came back 4 hours later with awesome cooked food. The chili I cooked took the full 4 hours and I did soak the beans first but they were as tender as can be. This is a great idea for hurricane cooking back up and to take camping too. It is also well made and portable and easy to store. Well worth what I paid. A good product. I bought one for my brother too.
