Minky Homecare Ergo Ironing Board with Prozone Cover

almost perfect!!
This is probably the best ironing board I have ever owned. It looks compact but is actually nice and wide. The maximum height is exactly right for me (5'4" tall). The best feature is the high tech cover which actually speeds up your ironing by reflecting the heat back into the item being pressed!! It gives a great result without much effort. The only feature which needs improvement is the cord holder for the iron. It is a plastic clip which is too big to hold a thin wire in place. It is only designed for a fat, old-fashioned cord.

Arrived intact!
I had read the reviews on this product and was worried about the packaging but am happy to report it arrived in perfect condition! The carton was not the sturdiest and has some open places at the ends but the entire ironing board was shrink wrapped so it was fine. I like this ironing board because it's lightweight and easy to maneuver and the cover fits nice and snug. The cover on my old board never fit well and my clothes would end up more wrinkled than when I started.

Very pleased at a reasonable cost
I don't know if I am the only one shocked by the cost of a decent stable ironing board...but while packing for a long distance move I'd donated my very stable adjustable ironing board to a charity along with several other items figuring it would just be easier to buy another than to move it. Obviously I hadn't priced ironing boards for several years. After my move and once settled I began shopping for a new ironing board and as I checked on them I began to wonder if it was possible to get a decent board for under $200.00! After checking several stores I decided to go online to continue my search. In searching I discovered Minky Homecare, UK brand I'd never heard of, but apparently quite popular and less than $75.00.
So I ordered it and I've been very pleased. It's quite stable, adjustable, I love the heat reflecting cover and as I use it for sewing I like the width of the board. I'm sure there are better ironing boards but in terms of price and what I use it for I'm very pleased.
